Ubuntu Basic Installation command

ubuntu root password
$ sudo passwd root

install ssh
sudo apt-get install openssh-server
sudo cp /etc/ssh/sshd_config /etc/ssh/sshd_config.factory-defaults
sudo chmod a-w /etc/ssh/sshd_config.factory-defaults

sudo gedit /etc/ssh/sshd_config
save the file

sudo restart ssh

$ sudo service ssh start
$ sudo /etc/init.d/ssh start


ubunt hostname change
vi /etc/hostname
change name

vi /etc/hosts
127.0.1.1  change name

reboot
